The Seditionists are Portland’s 4-piece of throbbing political intrigue. Dedicated to preserving the craft of engagement within the heart of even Portland’s most conflicted bars and performance venues, The Seditionists approach their ideologue opponents with a boots on the ground mentality and an anti-fascist lens of articulate critical thinking where it is needed most: face to face. Rather than distancing themselves from the discomfort of controversy over the politically and socioeconomically diverse breadth of the working-class, The Seditionists solider on to greet all seeking truth in the round. Fighting the misguided stigmas of the modern day smooth-brain rhetoric through unabashed ethics, morals, and values to bring a match to the powder keg of enthusiasm that Portland precariously sits atop.

Redefining the very fabric of their being to interact with those who need it most, The Seditionists see every person independent of their perceived indoctrinations as an opportunity to further the conversation and the potential to unite even the most wayward of the flock. Engaging, dramatic, and often wet, The Seditionists close the gap between idealistic bourgeois to bridge the divide between the unacknowledged social classes to bring well penned psychedelic rock via spiritual evolution to the masses with a grassroots down to earth magniloquence. The Seditionists are working diligently to procure the antidote to the social dilemmas of our times to ameliorate vapid philosophical posturing and engage minds and battle elitism that plagues the mosaic architecture of humanity’s stained glass heart.
